           | Patna, Feb 3 (IANS) Shambhu Srivastav, a senior leader of Bihar's ruling Janata Dal-United (JD-U) has demanded a Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) probe into the assets acquired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, his cabinet colleagues and top bureacrats. "I have demanded a probe by the CVC into the assets acquired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and political leaders, including ministers and administrative officers close to Nitish Kumar," Srivastav, a legislator and former national spokesperson and general secretary of JD-U, told IANS here Tuesday.
Srivastav said his demand was "for sake of the credibility" of the JD-U-led government.

"From people on the streets to party workers, they are talking about corruption in high places in the state government. Let a probe by CVC reveal the truth," said Srivastav, who was removed from all party posts last month after he raised the corruption issue.

comments... It came as a surprise to me when I heard the news of Mr. Shambhu Srivastav’s removal from all post of JDU party after he raised issue of corruption against some politicians.
Since inception of Mr. Nitish Kumar’s rule, it has been claimed that the new government will do what will be favorable for the people of Bihar, there is no doubt that Shri Nitish Kumar Jee has taken many measures to maintain a good governance and improve governments functionaries, if any thing is considered as root cause of backwardness that is corruption from top to bottom level in the government department, unfortunately there is no sign of its come to an end, this evil must be eliminated from the state. Mr. Srivastav should not be removed mare for raising corruption issues against some politicians, the chief minister should go into the depth of credibility of his allegation, if any body found involved in such activity, he should be punished according to law. However I do not doubt Mr. Nitish Kurmar’s honesty and modesty, he has been maintaining his clean image among the people since he assumed the charge. If Mr. Srivastav demands CVC probe into his assets as well as his cabinet colleagues, and top bureaucrats, he should appreciate his proposal to restore faith among the people, because Mr. Srivastav is still in his party, which makes it a matter of great significance

I am waiting for that moment that will bring me new picture of developed Bihar, its people will never be ashamed to call themselves Bihari.
