           | Patna,  (Bihar Times): In another pre-election exercise the state government on Tuesday  shifted three Superintendents of Police and promoted 10 additional SPs to the  rank of SPs in the same payscales. This is the second transfer of IPS officers  within three days.
 Madai Ram, who was waiting for posting, has been made SP, weaker sections, in  place of Satish Kumar, who has been made SP, State Crime Record Bureau (SCRB).  SP vigilance (BSEB) Yogendra Paswan is now SP (cooperative).
 
 Ten ASPs, who have been promoted to the SP rank include, Asghar Imam from  Rohtas, who has been made AIG (inspection). Additional SP, Araria, Sudhir Kumar  has become SP, vigilance, Addl SP (CID) Mansoor Ahmed has been made OSD (CID).  Addl SP (vigilance) Prakash Kumar Sinha is now SP (STF). Ajit Kumar Rai has  been shifted from vigilance to the newly created post of City SP (east), Patna. SDPO, Paliganj, Md  Rehman has been made commandant BMP-4, Dumraon, while addl SP, Katihar, Shukan  Paswan will take charge of SP, state electricity board. SDPO, Banka,  Barun Kumar Sinha has become SP, special branch while SDPO, Rosera, Chandrika  Prasad has been made commandant BMP-14.
 
 Addl SP, STF, Binod Kumar-2 will take charge as SP (CTS), Bhagalpur. The state government has also  shifted SDPOs, including Sridhar Mandal, Vivekanand and Kumar Amar Singh from  the state capital. Mandal will go to Jamalpur in the same capacity while  Vivekanand to Begusarai. Amar Singh will take charge at IG, Patna zone office.
 
 The new SDPOs are Pankaj Kumar who has been shifted from Begusarai to Patna  Sadar, Shailesh Kumar Sinha from Madhepura to Patna as DSP, law and order, and Rajesh Kumar  from Lakhisarai to Sachivalaya.
