Multi-purpose cultural complex in Patna soon

 

Patna, (Bihar Times): Patna is likely to get multi-purpose cultural complex a la Mandi House in New Delhi in the next three months. It has been constructed behind the existing 60-year-old Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir (BNKM), an autonomous cultural centre of the state culture department.

The BNKM is the hub of all the cultural activities in the city. There is no such centres in the city with so much space.

According to reports the new modern building has come up recently with a design to be developed under public-private partnership (PPP).

According to state cultural secretary Vivek Singh the maker of New Delhi's National Gallery of Modern Art, S Mukherjee, has also shown interest in developing art gallery here.
