           | Patna, Feb 13 : Three suspected Maoist rebels, including the head of a   village panchayat, have been arrested in connection with the killing of 10   policemen in an attack by guerrillas on Feb 9 in Bihar's Nawada district, police   said Friday.
 Mahudhar   panchayat head Ram Bhuj Ravidas and two others were arrested Thursday night,   Nawada Superintendent of Police Nishant Tiwari told IANS over telephone.
 
 Police have also detained over half a dozen people for questioning and   are in search of Ajit Yadav, the head of Lalpur panchayat, who was one of the   four accused in the case.
 
 Yadav had invited Rameshwar Ram, officer in   charge of Kauakaul police station, to chair a function to mark the birth   anniversary of saint Ravidas in Mahuliatand village.
 
 Over 100 armed   Maoists ambushed the 18-member police party led by Ram as it reached the   village. Ten policemen were killed in the attack during which the Maoists looted   11 guns, including two SLRs.
 
 The police Wednesday lodged first   information reports (FIRs) against four people and 150 unknown Maoists in   Kauakaul police station.
