Patna, (Bihar Times): The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday said it would raise the issue of non-payment of funds for rehabilitation of victims and reconstruction of areas devastated by August 2008 deluge in Kosi river in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.
According to the party leader Sushma Swaraj the issue of non-payment of funds to Bihar government would be raised by the member Shahnawaz Hussain in the Lok Sabha on Thursday as the party did it in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. here.
The decision to raise the issue in both the Houses was taken at a meeting of the floor leaders of NDA on Wednesday morning.
JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav raised the issue in the meeting. The NDA would take up the issue of discrimination of NDA-ruled states by the Centre.
