Patna, (Bihar Times):The state government on Thursday transferred 4 IPS officers & promoted 44 Inspectors to DSPs.
A day before the deadline fixed by the Election Commission to shift all police officials , who have already completed three years at a particular place, the govt. issued a notification transferring four IPS officers.
Two DGs, Anand Shankar and Manoje Nath, will swap posts. While DG, vigilance (Bihar state electricity board) Shankar will take charge from Nath as DG, civil defence, Nath will replace Shankar as DG, vigilance, power board.
Paresh Saxena, DIG, Wireless will now be the new DIG of Bettiah range. The post fell vacant following the promotion of Preeta Verma to the rank of IG.
Patna got three new traffic DSPs. Vijendra Kumar Das & two newly promoted DSPs- G M Kumar & Saryug Sharma have been posted as DSP(Traffic).
