Three IAS officers shifted on New Year’s eve

 

Patna, (Bihar Times): Just before the New Year sets-in the state government late on Wednesday night transferred three IAS officers. This includes the district magistrates of two districts.

Apart from this six IAS officers have been going on one-month compulsory training. An equal number of officials have been given additional charge of their departments.

Atish Chandra, who was the district magistrate of Madhepura is now the new DM of Vaishali replacing Pratima S Verma, who has been made joint secretary in the personnel and administrative reforms department.

The Managing Director of the Bihar Aids Control Society, Virendra Yadav, is now the new DM of Madhepura. Executive director of Bihar State Health Society Abhay Kumar Singh has been given the additional charge of the Aids Control Society MD.

Bhanu Pratap Sharma, S K Negi, Vijay Prakash, Anjani Kumar Singh and Arun Jha, all of the 1981 batch, and Vyasji of the 1982 batch are going on one-month compulsory training.

In their absence urban development principal secretary Dipak Kumar will now have the additional charge of the health commissioner, the post which Bhanu Pratap Sharma was holding. Cabinet secretary Girish Shankar would take the post of principal secretary to governor, the post Negi was holding. Welfare secretary S Sidhu will look after as the MD of SC & ST Corporation, the post held by Vijay Prakash. Rural works department principal secretary Shashi Shekhar Sharma would look after the post of the HRD principal secretary, the post Anjani Kumar Singh was holding, and planning secretary Rameshwar Singh would take charge of the labour resource department principal secretary, the post held by Vyasji.
