           | Patna, (Bihar Times): After remaining silent for sometimes the former chief minister and dissident Janata Dal (United) leader, Dr Jagannath Mishra, once again attacked the Nitish Kumar government for the poor quality of the relief, rehabilitation and construction work in the Kosi belt.
He said on Tuesday that the water resources minister, Vijendra Yadav, had given contract for plugging the breach in the Kosi embankment and for constructing channel to the petty contractors and close relatives.

He charged the government with large scale irregularities in the relief and rehabilitation works.

Dr Mishra’s statement is significant as he is not only a senior party leader but also the father of the disaster management minsigter of the state, Nitish Mishra. Incidentally he belongs to the worst hit Supaul district.
