CM seeks people’s help to weed out corruption from Bihar

 

Patna (Bihar Times): Conceding that there is widespread corruption at different levels Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar sought full cooperation from people to fight this evil.

Addressing a meeting on the birth anniversary of former chief  minister Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur the chief minister said his government would not sit idle. It has launched a crusade against corrupt government officials and it seeks the cooperation of the people for this campaign.

Notwithstanding corruption, he claimed, things have changed in Bihar. But it would take some more time to make the state more responsive. He said that with the help of Vikas Yatra he wanted to take the stock of the development work in the rural areas.
