LJP demands 16 LS seats in Bihar

Patna, (Bihar Times): The Lok Janshakti Party on Sunday demanded as many as 16 seats out of the total 40 in Bihar for the coming Lok Sabha election.

Reports from New Delhi says that Ram Vilas Paswan’s younger brother, Ram Chandra Paswan, MP, said that his party would go it alone in all 40 Lok Sabha seats if they get less than 16 seats. In the last parliamentary election the party settled for only eight seats and could win only four. Thus the success rate was much less than the RJD which won 22 out of 26 seats it contested last time.

With such poor track record, even worst than Congress, the UPA is not likely to yield to this demand.
