RJD MLAs stage walk out over attack on Biharis in Karnataka

Patna, (BiharTimes): Opposition RJD MLAs staged strong protest and later walked out from the state assembly over the beating up of Bihari students who went to Karnataka to appear in the Railway Recruitment Board examination on Sunday.

This prompted state government to demand the railway minister Mamata Banerjee to hold railway exam of the Bihari students within the state. The RJD MLAs alleged that the state government was doing nothing in this direction.

However, the deputy chief minister, Sushil Kumar Modi, said that the state government had already condemned the incident and said that he personally spoke to Karnataka chief minister on Monday morning and “he informed me that among the students attacked in Mysore, there has been none from Bihar but injuries to a couple of Bihari students are reported from Bangalore.
