Over 800 striking universities’ employees suspended in Bihar

Patna,(BiharTimes): After over 40 days the state government has finally cracked the whip. It had suspended more than 800 striking non-teaching employees of Patna University and Lalit Narayan Mithila University of Darbhanga, for allegedly violating its ultimatum.

They have been on strike since July 1. This has badly affected teaching and admission works of the colleges in all the nine universities.

The state government had earlier issued an ultimatum asking the employees to report back for duties or face action.

Of the total employees suspended 205 belong to grade III and grade IV of different colleges and university of Patna University while 602 of them belong to 17 colleges and university of LNMU.
