Govt undertakes first post-poll administrative shake-up

 

Patna,(BiharTimes): In the first such overhaul after being voted back to power the Nitish government on Monday transferred several senior IAS and IPS officers.
According to the notification C K Mishra, who was holding the post of principal secretary of health department with additional charge of Resident Commissioner in Delhi, has been given the charge of industry department. He would also hold the additional charge of sugarcane industry department.



Amarjit Sinha, who was waiting for posting, has been made the principal secretary of health department.
Subhakirti Mazumdar would be the new principal secretary of forest and environment department. He was earlier holding the same post in the industry department and had been given the additional charge of sugarcane industry department.
Manoj Srivastava, has been made principal secretary of Panchayati Raj department. He was earlier heading the Disaster Management department.
Raajit Punhani would be the new secretary of Commercial Taxes department. E L S N Bala Prasad has been posted as director general of Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development.
C K Anil, who was holding the post of secretary, public grievances, has been posted as secretary of agriculture department.
Similarly Gupteshwar Pandey has now once again been made the inspector-general of Muzaffarpur zone and he would hold the additional charge of Darbhanga zone. It was after the announcement of election that he was posted as IG (Security).
Parveen Vashishth, who was holding the post of Muzaffarpur IG, has been posted as IG (Economic Offence Wing) at police headquarters.
