Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar is about to get an additional 2960 MW electricity from National Thermal Power Corporation’s new plants in eastern states.
Bihar, which hardly generates its own electricity and depends completely on supply from the NTPC, is presently drawing 1309 MW from various plants of Corporation.
Bihar is not only facing the problem of generation, but also of transmission and distribution. The power consumption in the state is lowest in the country and transmission loss highest.
