03/07/2010 I work 'without break' for Bihar, says Nitish   Patna, July 3 (IANS) Bihar has recorded a high growth rate but a lot is still to be done, according to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who said that he worked "every day without a break" for the state's development. "I have been working every day without a break, thinking often of the philosophy of aharnish seva (uninterrupted work through day and night)," Nitish Kumar wrote on his blog Saturday.
Bihar grew at high rates in the last four-and-half years but "I am not entirely satisfied and a lot is still to be done", he said after concluding his 'Vishwas Yatra' ahead of the October assembly elections.

The chief minister said his government was in the process of prioritising work for rapid growth in key sectors.

He said the growth achieved in the state cannot go unnoticed.

"We are witnessing a very positive social assertion, thanks to the empowerment of our womenfolk, and a genuinely growing sensitivity among the rural poor towards education," he said.

"I have always maintained that only when the masses begin to have a natural sense of ownership, can any development sustain. It feels good that health services, transport and communication infrastructures are there to aid this social change," he said.
