Taslimuddin ushered into Janata Dal (United) by Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): In yet another move which is likely to intensify squabbling within the NDA constituents the Janata Dal (United) on Sunday inducted controversial leader from the Kosi belt, Mohammad Taslimuddin, into its fold. Incidentally he switched side only a day after former MP Arun Kumar joined the ruling party in presence of the chief minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday.

The function to take Taslimuddin into the party was organized in Kishanganj with Nitish Kumar as the chief guest. His coming into the Janata Dal (United) has caused widespread resentment among the BJP and even old Janata Dal (United) workers. The BJP has been consistently opposing him for the last over two decades.

Speaking on the occasion Nitish said that Taslimuddin had moved to the right party from RJD. He said that Taslimuddin had always been concerned about the development of Seemanchal districts of Bihar and with his joining Janata Dal (United)’s development work in this area will gather the much-needed momentum.

Nitish flayed the UPA government at the Centre for its alleged step motherly treatment to Bihar by denying it its rightful demands for funds.

Taslimuddin was earlier supposed to join the ruling party on September 30 but his entry was resisted by many people within the party.
