07/07/2010 I won't join UPA: Paswan  New Delhi, July 7 (IANS) Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram   Vilas Paswan Wednesday dismissed reports that he will join the Congress-led   United Progressive Alliance (UPA) and said his party will sit in the   opposition. "No way, I won't be joining the UPA," Paswan told reporters. He   was asked about reports of his joining the union cabinet in the event of a   reshuffle by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. 
 "We will sit in the   opposition," the Bihar leader said, and added that the LJP's coalition with Lalu   Prasad's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) would continue.
 
 "We will not be   having any truck with anyone else. As an MP, I will keep on raising the voice of   Dalits in parliament," Paswan said.
 
 On Monday, Congress president Sonia   Gandhi wished Paswan on his 64th birthday.
 
 Paswan was the chemicals and   fertilizers minister in UPA-I. Paswan was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Bihar   with the support of the RJD.
