Vijay Chaudhary offers to quit as Janata Dal (United) Bihar chief

 

Patna,(BiharTimes): Following his induction in the new Nitish Kumar cabinet the state Janata Dal (United) chief Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has sought permission from the leadership to quit the party post.



He was appointd as the new party chief after Lallan Singh quit the post in January last. He took over his post on February 14.

He got elected as the MLA from Sarairanjan in Samastipur district and on November 26 made the Water Resources Development Minister of Bihar.

Pleading that the Water Resources Department is a huge department “I need focussed attention to perform my job.”

He also said that he had already signed his resignation letter and will send it to national president Sharad Yadav once he gets nod from chief minister Nitish Kumar.
