BJP drops sitting MLA Janardhan Yadav

Patna,(BiharTimes): The BJP on Saturday dropped sitting MLA and senior party leader, Janardhan Yadav, from Narpatganj assembly constituency and has, in his place, given ticket to Damayanthi Yadav, a woman.

He has reportedly been denied ticket as the party survey conducted to check his ability to win did not approve his candidature.

In another surprise move the party has given ticket to Sweety Singh for Kishanganj seat. Earlier reports suggested that the Janata Dal (United) made claim on this seat.

Sashi Bhushan Hazari has been given ticket from Kusheshwar Asthan SC seat, Sachendra Singh from Kesaria and Suresh Sharma from Muzaffarpur.

Party sources said that these names were finalised on the basis of a party survey.
