Patna,(BiharTimes): The two-day BiharTimes Conclave 2010 will take place on December 18-19 (Sat-Sun) at Hotel Maurya in Patna.

The BiharTimes Conclave, the most sought after international engagement in Bihar, has established itself as the biggest participatory event of the state involving gathering of the best minds from government, politics, business, art, film, activism and academia.

More than 200 personalities from various parts of the world, along with important functionaries of the state, are expected to participate in the Conclave.

The theme of this conclave is “Challenges of Change in Bihar”.

Bihartimes.com has been a popular source of news and information for more than a decade. Its readers come from almost every corner of the globe. This news portal has the credit of organizing “Global Meet for the Resurgent Bihar” in 2007 and ‘BiharTimes Conclave 09’.

According to editor of BiharTimes, Ajay Kumar, a large number of participants from some leading institutions of the world as well as pioneer institutions from India like IITs and IIMs would participate and share their vision with the audience.

Senior political executives from the State and Centre, along with top level civil servants, would also participate in the event.

A host of local change agents and young minds are earnestly waiting for this occasion to come to expand their mental horizon.

CONGRATULATIONS : Ajay Kumar and the team of Bihar times
We all want our beloved state to change and succeed but success will depend not on our government, it will largely depend on the dynamism, determination, and innovation of the people of Bihar. And Bihar times is a big leap towards the change that the politicians of Bihar have been trying desperately and for years to hide, ignore and kill.
I can easily imagine the philanthropists of Bihar Times sitting down and talking to any leader - or any person - in the world who have even little concern about Bihar without any past guilt to mar their talks. I cannot see the same scenario with any other organization or media outlet as each one of them have been biased against the state one or the other times.
With Bihar times conclave 2010 we now face an opportunity — and an obligation — to turn the page on the failed politics of yesterday’s idiotic meaningless debates and begin a more focused change-oriented discussion on the future prospect of a new Bihar.
I wish the team of Bihar Times well and hope to see the onging changes thorugh their incessant efforts.

First of all let me congratulate you on being the most reliable source of info on current affairs in the state. What we the people of state will like to see some positive outcome(action items) emerging out of the"Challenges of Change in Bihar" , Also it will be really worth if we can highlight any achievements which we were able to gain after 'Global Meet for the Resurgent Bihar” in 2007 and ‘BiharTimes Conclave 09’.

Definitely one I can say is the 'Brand Bihar' took birth out of these conclaves which were formerly non existent. Can we come out of a non partial data on some of the good things like roads constructed in past 5 yrs/ fast track courts/ penetration of health care in villages etc etc. and some of the areas which will require our immediate attention like power generation. This will encourage people to select the right government for the state.

Also how Bihar can lead in using newly launched UID cards just as it did start making fair use of Right of Information. This I believe is needed by Bihar badly to eradicate corruption and channelize many of its government schemes so that it reaches for the intended population.

With reference to your Bihar Times Conclave, 2010, can you please share the lsit of prospective participants/speakers, more particularly representing the Industrial Community of Bihar.
On perusal of a the list of participants for the Bihar Times Conclave, 2009, I have noted that the list is highly distingusihed albeit without a single participant who can claim to belong to the Industrial fraternity based in Bihar.
This is only out of curiosity and concern regarding the absence of Industrialists who are running their factories/ industries from and out of Bihar, though I could help in arranging for leading Bihar based Industrialists who could agree to become a speaker to share their hands on experience about the prospect of industrial developent & infrastructure investments in the state of Bihar.
I hope you find the suggestion helpful and credible and your response thereto is eagerly awaited.

I fully agree with Mr. Shekhar on what he has expressed. The progress and development of a country or a state or a society is not within the civil and technological development but it is by making people honest, just and peace-loving. I am sure this can be greatly achieved through mass-awareness using Info Tech facility by the concerned Establishments like, TV, Mass Media etc. Let us join our hands with those who are enthusiastic to achieve this.

I take this opportunity to congratulate Bihar Times on Conclave 2010 and wish them all the success.

Congratulate "Bihar Times" for taking really great initiative by organizing "Bihar Times Conclave" and I totally greed with Mr. Mishra that Now a day, the biggest challenge of bihar face today is corruption and Quality of Eduction. Because, Our politician are always compromise quality of eduction and corruption. No one society will be development without corruption free and good education.

I would like to request "Bihar Times" to raise such type major issue.

First of all I would like to congratulate “Bihar Times” for taking excellent initiative by organizing “ Bihar Times Conclave”. The biggest challenge bihar face today is corruption and lethargic attitude of the politician, government employees and also the people of bihar. People has accepted corruption as a part of their life in Bihar. I think we need to change the mind set of the state people for which we need heavy campaign from TV, print media, political initiative and participation of the people.

Unless we get the success in removing corruption we as a state and people of Bihar will progress very slowly.
Shekhar Mishra
