CRPF man kills two colleagues in Bihar

Patna, Oct 9 (IANS) A Central Reserve Police Force constable killed two of his colleagues, including an assistant commandant, and seriously injured another in Bihar's Rohtas district early Saturday, police said.

The attack took place following a heated exchange of words among them at a camp in Rampurchaur village in Rohtas, about 150 km from here.

"The accused, Rahul Raj Singh, shot dead two colleagues - an assistant commandant and a constable," Rohtas Superintendent of Police Vikash Vaibhab said.

The injured trooper, who was not identified, was admitted to a hospital.

A temporary CRPF camp was set up in the village in view of the upcoming Bihar assembly polls as Rohtas is one of the Maoist strongholds and authorities feared trouble during the elections.
