RJD may join hands with Congress if need arises: Raghuvansh

Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Janata Dal on Monday dropped first hint of its possible post-poll alliance with the Congress.

Former Union Minister for Rural Development and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, conceded that, if need arises, his party may join hands with the secular forces to form the government in Bihar.

However, he made it clear that the RJD-LJP combine is going to get clear-cut majority and would not need any other party’s help.

He once again conceded that breaking away from Congress was a mistake. He said that even Lalu Prasad accepted that it was wrong to snap ties with the Congress.

Addressing a rally Raghuvansh expressed the RJD’s desire to dethrone the NDA from power in the state.

The former Union minister said that it has become crystal clear that Nitish Kumar is not going to come back to power in the state.
