Chappal thrown at Nitish’s meeting

Patna,(BiharTimes): A chappal was thrown at the meeting of the chief minister, Nitish Kumar, in Lauria assembly constituency under West Champaran district of Bihar on Friday morning.

According to the police the man hurled his slipper at ruling Janata Dal (United) nominee Pradip Singh in the presence of chief minister Nitish Kumar.

The chappal was hurled immediately after Nitish concluded his speech and sought the support of voters for Pradip Singh. However, the man missed the target.

Police said that the slipper-thrower was angry with Pradip for his alleged partisan role in the distribution of relief in the flood-affected area.
