Bihar Congress chief booked for poll code violation

Patna, Sep 13 (IANS) A case has been lodged against Bihar Congress president Mehboob Ali Kaisar for violating the model code of conduct ahead of the assembly polls, police said.

An FIR was lodged against Kaiser here for ordering pasting of party posters here, police said.

So far, cases have been lodged against over half a dozen legislators of different political parties across the state.

The six-phase poll in Bihar will be held between Oct 21 and Nov 20.
