Janata Dal (United) MP speaks out against Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): After RJD and LJP, it is the turn of the Janata Dal (United) to face turmoil. Muzaffarpur Member of Parliament, Captain Jai Narayan Nishad, has raised the banner of revolt against chief minister Nitish Kumar. He accused the latter of ignoring the party MPs and other leaders. He said that they were not even invited during the National Executive meet in Rajgir recently.

Nishad, who had been in the RJD and BJP, joined the Janata Dal (United) before the last year Lok Sabha election and won comfortably. This notwithstanding the fact that George Fernandes was also contesting as an Independent.

Muzaffarpur has sizeable Nishad and Sahni (boatmen) voters and Captain Nishad is considered as the top most leader of his caste.

He reportedly met Congress incharge of Bihar, Mukul Wasnik, and RJD leader, Lalu Yadav. It is said that he is seeking ticket for his son Ajay Nishad. Media reports suggest that Lalu has assured him to give Meenapur seat to his son.
