Abhay Yadav, Rupesh transferred to safer districts

 

Patna,(BiharTimes): Abhay Kumar Yadav and Rupesh Kumar Sinha, sub-inspectors who were taken hostage and released after nine days by Maoists in Kajra hills, have been transferred from Lakhisarai district.




According to an official notification issued by the office of the director-general of police Yadav and Sinha were on Saturday evening shifted to Kishanganj and Araria districts respectively. These districts are not Maoist-infested. The third policemen who was taken hostage, Ehsan Khan from Ranchi in Jharkhand has not yet been shifted.

The approval of the Election Commission was sought in this regard.

The two of them have been asked to join duty as early as possible. Yadav was posted as Station House Officer (SHO), Manikpur police outpost, and Sinha was posted at the Kajra.
