Lalu, Nitish battle of parodies regale Bihar voters

Patna,(BiharTimes): A day after chief minister Nitish Kumar composed his parody and recited it before the media RJD chief Lalu Yadav came out with his own version.

Nitish on Wednesday sang: Jai ho, railways ki chhay ho, Bihar mein bhay ho, atank raj ki jai ho, Maharaj Kayapalat-ji ki jai ho.

He explained the term Kayapalat-ji, which he said stands for Mr Turnaround, as Lalu claims to have made in the Indian Railways.

The parody was composed on the tunes of Slumdog Millionaire’s hit song Jai Ho, which was adopted by the Congress party during the last Lok Sabha election campaign.

Lalu, who is known for his own inimitable style, hit back.

Yeh sashan hai Maharaj Sushasan ka,/Khel ho raha hai kushasan ka.//Bhay, bhook, bhrashtachar mitayenge/ AC DC farzi bill banwayenge// Asan par baith kar sushashan babu kahlay-enge/ Barh, sukhar se janata to rulayenge// Thahaka laga kar sushasan babu kahlayenge/ Ab samay aaya hai sushasan babu jayenge// Hatne par baal noch noch kar khayenge/ Tab bar bar Lalu yaad ayenge// Naxalion ke atank se ghar me chhup jayenge/ RSS ke god mein baith kar secular kah-layenge..

Whether the two leaders are good ruler or bad is for voters to decide later, for now both are at least providing good entertainment to them, thanks to the television channels.
