Patna,(BiharTimes): The Patna Police claimed that it had busted a gang involved in looting passengers in the wee
hours on the roads of Patna, particularly on the Bailey Road. |
According to Patna Police two persons who had reached Patna from Ranchi were on
the way to Sheikhpura locality on a rickshaw on Saturday morning. The rickshaw was intercepted by
some criminals, who had come on an auto. They looted some valuables from them,
When the passengers raised alarm the local people assembled and gave a hot chase. They caught one of the criminals while he was trying to flee and handed him over to the Shashtrinagar Police.
After his confession the police carried out raid at Alamganj and arrested four criminals from there
with looted materials. The police team also seized a three-wheeler,
which was used in the crime.
