Patna to have three City SPs

Patna,(BiharTimes): Fed up with the rise in crime in the state capital the Nitish Kumar government on Tuesday decided to have three SPs for Patna. Besides, it decided to shift eight SPs from their post.
U K Sharma will take charge as City SP, Patna West, Miss Kim as City SP, Patna East, and S Lande will be city SP, Patna Central, besides holding the charge of SP Traffic.

A DIG, an SP, six ASPs and seven DSPs have also been promoted. Eight districts will now have new SPs. DIG, Administration, Raghunath Prasad Singh has been made IG (Technical Services). Vigilance officer in BISCOMAUN N C Dhondiyal, who was waiting for posting, has been appointed IG, training.


DIG of Bihar Police Academy Paresh Saxena has been made DIG, Saharsa. He replaces Sudhanshu Kumar who will take charge as DIG, Darbhanga. DIG, Darbhanga, Nayyar Hasnain Khan has been made DIG, Magadh Range. DIG, Magadh Range, Umesh Kumar will go back to his parent cadre in Karnataka. He was on deputation in Bihar.


SP, Weaker Section, Kapileshwar Manjhi is new DIG, Bihar Police Academy. Bagaha SP S M Jain has been made Aurangabad SP in place of Vivek Raj Singh who has been assigned Assam cadre by the Centre. Daljit Singh is the new Buxar SP, replacing Upendra Kumar Sinha who has been shifted to Vaishali in the same capacity.


Madhepura SP Barun Kumar Sinha has been made Samastipur SP, while Gopal Prasad will take charge from Sinha in Madhepura. ASP, Sachivalaya, Satyaveer Singh will take over as Gaya SP; ASP Vikas Verma has been made Bhagalpur SP; ASP Manoj Kumar will be Muzaffarpur SP; and ASP Natasha Guriya will be SP, enforcement, Gaya.
