Organic farming may help bring migrants back to Bihar: ASSOCHAM

.Patna,(BiharTimes): Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) secretary general D S Rawat said that the reason why people, who migrated from Bihar are still not preferring to come back to their home state is that they are not assured of having the kind of income that they have been earning in other states.

Releasing a study paper “Organic Farming: Way to Agricultural Prosperity” in Patna on Saturday he said people of the state, both skilled and unskilled, were not assured of getting as many opportunities in their own state as they are getting outside.

He, however added, that the situation could change if the state opted for organic farming that has the potential to provide 210 days of employment per hectare.

Stating that Bihar had grown in the past one decade he said the average agriculture growth rate of the state from 2000-01 to 2008-09 has been just 4.5 per cent per annum, whereas its overall growth rate was the second fastest in the recent years. Still the growth has not been sufficient to bring back its people, he added.

I thought ASSOCHAM was a national agency then, why does it want people of bihar back in bihar?biharis must learn from this that bihar's hypernationalistic indian nationalism must be changed into bihari nationalism..in 1947 when pakistan was created and hindus, sikhs and jains left their homes in pakistan for their safety, millions of these displaced people from punjab(pakistani punjab) and east bengal(east pakistan, now bangladesh) fled into bihar and generous people of bihar took them into their heart.these refugees were never asked to leave for either punjab or west bengal.
bihar must understand that india is not a nation.it is a ragtag country of 28 nations badly put together in 1947 by some very selfish leaders who wanted to be the ZAMINDAAR of india.this family has never lost the lust to be the zamindaar of india with the help of it's goons.
i have been living in the u.s. for the last 34 yrs and have lived in germany for 6 yrs prior to moving to the united states. i saw in both places people moved around depending on the availibility of employments.i lived in stittgat in germany.this area of southwest germany is very industialized.therefore germans from all parts of germany lived, settled and worked in stuttgart.similarly in the united states during the years of 30s through 70s MOTOWN or motor town DETROIT provided all the jobs.the stituation changed motown lost it's appeal as foreing cars penetrated american markets and people began moving away from there.the 80s,90,s till today SILICON VALLEY near san hose ,california saw exponential growth in jobs in high tech and a this area grew from a few thousand inhabitants to 10 millions.at once california's population grew in the 70s of 10 millions to 35 millions now.
thise are the examples of true nations.in a nation citizens must have the right to move around, live, work, settle and even retire as they wish.in the u.s senior citizens usually retire in florida, arizona or hawaii for it's sunny weather.they come from all 50 states of the u.s.
you can see india is not a nation.it is just a country of 28 nations who do not want to share their so called developed status withe the less fortunate state like BIHAR
