Patna,(BiharTimes): The main accused in the BJP MLA Raj Kishore Kesari murder case, Rupam Pathak, was assaulted by an inmate of the Beur Central Jail in Patna on Saturday.

According to Superintendent of Jail Shivendra Priyadarshi she picked up a quarrel with another inmate Bacchi Devi, over fetching water from the water pump inside the prison. However, later a compromise was reached between the two inmates.
