Patna,(BiharTimes): Even the Ward Councillors of Patna Municipal Corporation are not safe these days.
A bomb was hurled on the house of Mohammad Mahmood Querishi in the Sudarshan Path area under Chowk police station of Patna City. |
Querishi, who is also a Janata Dal (United) leader, is the Councillor of ward number 64 of PMC.
He had reportedly received an extortion call on December 10 from a person who identified himself as Shamsher and was asked to cough up Rs 2 lakh or face consequences. A case has been lodged in this
connection.
