Japanese PM accepts invitation to visit Bihar: CM

Patna,(BiharTimes): Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda has accepeted the invitation to visit Bihar during his next trip to India.
This was stated by chief minister Nitish Kumar while talking to newsmen after reaching Patna from New Delhi on Thursday. As reported earlier Nitish was in Delhi on Wednesday where he met the Japanese PM and attended a banquet hosted in his honour by his Indian counterpart, Manmohan Singh. It was in Delhi that Nitish extended invitation to PM of Japan to visit Bihar.

Nitish told mediapersons that Japan had always supported Bihar and would collaborate in future too. He said Noda is well informed about Bihar. “I told him about the development taking place in Bihar. I had good and fruitful talks with him. I put up several proposals too him,” he added.

He said that Japan is the highest contributor to India under its Overseas Development Assistance for infrastructure development. Bihar too looks forward in this regard, especially in the development of Buddhist circuit as it figured during the talks.
