Rupam’s husband meets her for the first time after MLA murder

Patna,(BiharTimes): Ashok Pathak, the husband of Rupam Pathak, met her wife for the first time after she allegedly stabbed to death the BJP MLA, Raj Kishore Kesri. His mother-in-law Kumod Mishra was also present during the half an hour long meeting in Purnea jail.

Later Ashok feared that anything can happen to his wife and asked as to who will then be held responsible for it.

Ashok told mediapersons that Rupam is not feeling well as she was badly hit on the head by the mob, which tried to lynch her after she reportedly killed the MLA on January 4 morning.

He said he would complained the matter to the National Human Rights Commision.

Ashok arrived in Patna a couple of days back and left for Purnea on Sunday evening to meet his wife.

He said that he would be present at the court hearing on Febraury 11 and leave for Imphal, where he is principal, on February 13. He said that he had to stay there in Imphal because his daughter’s board examination is to start from March 1.

He told a section of media in Patna that he stands solidly behind his wife in this hour of crisis, when she needs him most.

It was Rupam, who went to Imphal in October 2010, where Ashok is principal of Hundred Flowers Higher Secondary School.
