Patna,(BiharTimes): After about three months of the Bihar Assembly election results Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee chief Choudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser on Saturday held organisational weaknesses, irregularities in distribution of tickets and indiscipline responsible for defeat of the party. |
Talking to reporters after reviewing the reasons behind party’s poor showing in the last Assembly election he said the party would have to take bold initiatives for making the Congress more strong and vibrant in Bihar.
Kaiser said he had constituted an ad-hoc disciplinary committee to recommend action against the party rebels. The committee is likely to submit its report within a fortnight for necessary action.
Sources within the party said that the action may also be taken against Prem Chandra Mishra, who was recently removed from the post of chief party spokesman in the state.
