Nitish Kumar 's mother passes away

Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's mother Parmeshwari Devi died today after prolonged illness at his official residence 1, Anne Marg. She was 92.

She was shifted to 1, Anne Marg, the chief minister's residence, a fortnight ago from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology after improvement in her condition. Since then she had been there under the observation of doctors.

Today Nitish was busy exchanging New Year greetings with people at his residence when the officials posted there informed him that his mother was suffering from breathlessness.

Suddenly she fell unconscious and breathed her last. Nitish and other family members were at her bed side at that time.

As the news of her death spread, Dy. chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi and several other ministers visited the CM's house to offer condolences.
