Talking to reporters after leading a procession in Patna against the alleged involvement of the late BJP MLA, Raj Kishore Kesri, in the rape of Rupan Pathak, she charged Modi with shielding the real culprits involvied in the crime. She asked as to why is Bipin Rai, the main accused of the repeated rape of Rupan not yet been arrested.
She said that the Central Bureau of Investigation probe is not enough and asked as to why the journalist, who broke the news, Navlesh Pathak, has been put behind bars.
Earlier on Tuesday Subhashini went to Purnea to meet Rupan, who is now in jail for stabbing to death Raj Kishore Kesri, the BJP MLA from Purnea, on January 4.
AIDWA is the women’s wing of the CPI(M). It took out a rally from Patna’s Gandhi Maidan to register their protest against the Purnea incident and rise in crime against women in the state.

Credibility of these socalled indepedent organization working for women;s cause is at lowest ebb. Take example of Girija Vyas ( comngress leader) and chairperson of women's rights orgn blocked investigation in Aarushi murder case.
In my view all these individuals just fish in trouble political waters at the behest of their political masters. One should not read much into these politically motivated demands assertions noises .
