Patna,(BiharTimes) Bihar Health Minister Ashwani Choubey said on Friday that the Centre had assured the Bihar government that the construction of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Patna will be completed by the end of 2011 and the hospital may become functional by April 2012.

Talking to newsmen he blamed the Centre for delay in release of funds in recent years that led to the extension of deadline for completion of buildings of the AIIMS.
