20 IAS officers promoted by Bihar government

 

Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar government on Tuesday evening promoted 20 Indian Administrative Service officers. Sixteen of these 20 have been promoted to the rank of special secretaries.

According to the notification Anil Kumar, the 1976 batch officers at present Advisor in the Bihar State Planning Board, has been given the top scale of Rs 80,000 per month.


Three officers of the 1986 batch: Sanjiv K Sinha, divisional commissioner, Darbhanga, K P Ramaiya, Principal Secretary, Art, Culture and Youth Affairs, and Alok Vardhan Chaturvedi, Bihar’s Resident Commissioner in Delhi, were promoted to the super time scale of Rs 67,000-79,000.

Sixteen officers of 1995 to 1997 batches were promoted as special secretaries in the scale of Rs 37,000-67,000. They are N Vijaylakshmi, B Rajendra, Arvind K Chaudhary, Uday N Thakur, Suresh P Sinha, Ramesh Lal, Masud Hasan, Daya Shankar Pandey, Indra Sen Singh, Arun Prasad, Arun Chandra Mishra and Arvind K Singh (all 1995 batch), Deo Dutt Verma and Kamal K Sinha (both 1996 batch), Pankaj Kumar and Santosh M Mal (1997 batch).
