Patna,(BiharTimes): A division bench of Patna High Court comprising Justice Shiva Kirti Singh and Justice Ravi Ranjan on Monday directed the Patna district administration and Patna Municipal Corporation to ensure removal of encroachments from roads in the state capital. |
The Court issued directive to the state government and PMC to submit before the HC a detailed action plan to solve the traffic problem in Patna. The Court added that if a concrete action plan is not presented before it, then an order might be passed for appearance of the chief secretary and DGP before the court in this regard.
Responding to a PIL filed by Barun Kumar Sharma the Court directed the PMC to take measures for creation of vendors’ zone for shifting of vendors from road flanks in Patna.
