Patna, June 5 (1ANS) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has described the use of force to evict yoga guru Baba Ramdev as undemocratic.
"It is a major blow to democracy and an attack on the democratic rights of people. It is also an attack on the fundamental rights of the citizens," Nitish Kumar told reporters here.

The Congress-led government's hurry to suppress Ramdev's protest was shocking, he said.
The government should explain what compelled it to act in such a manner within hours after engaging the yoga guru in a dialogue, he said.
Ramdev's fast against corruption ended abruptly as he was forcibly evicted from Ramlila ground in New Delhi after Saturday midnight.
