UK body condemns police barbarism in Forbesganj

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Council of Indian Muslims, United Kingdom, has expressed anguish over police firing and brutality in a Forbesganj
village under Araria police station in which half a dozen people lost their lives on June 3 last.

A video footage shown by a couple of television channels and newsportal twocircles.net showing a policeman stomping on the body of an injured person, (who subsequently succumbed to injuries), are in
circulation in a big way outside India.

In a letter to the chief minister Nitish Kumar the CIM chairman Munaf Zeena has demanded immediate suspension, arrest and trial of officers involved in the cold blooded murder of innocent people including a seven month old girl and a woman in family way.

The letter also demanded the payment of adequate compensation to the victims and their family members.

The letter regretted that even ten days after the incident no action has been taken against the culprits.
