Three new medical colleges soon, reiterates Bihar government

 

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar government once again announced that it would open three new medical colleges. Besides, it will promote other systems of treatment like Ayurved, Unani and Ayush as well as yoga.

As announced earlier three of the medical colleges will be established at Pawapuri, Madhepura and Bettiah by the year end. Super speciality hospital for eye and orthopedic will be set up in Patna.

Replying to the debate over the Budgetary demands of his department in the Assembly on Monday health minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey said that Swastha Kumbh will be organized at 10,000 primary and additional primary health centres,

The House passed the demands of Rs 2724.60 crore by voice vote as the Opposition walked out when the minister was concluding his hour-long speech.
