Patna,(BiharTimes): Following is the version of the district magistrate of Gopalganj, Pankaj Kumar Pal, on the Manipur story:
“Pankaj Kumar Pal has strongly denied the allegation that he is an accused in the case regarding triple murder of SDO, Thingnam Kishan, Y Token and A Rajen. He is not involved in the incident in any way. Rather according to him , he has been honourably exonerated by the enquiry committee constituted by the govt. of Manipur to enquire into the facts and circumstances of the incident.” His name did not figure in the FIR and in the subsequent investigation. The charge sheet has already been filed in the concerned case. The trial is in advanced stage and the truth will come out.” (sic)
