.Patna,(BiharTimes): Desh Ratna Dr Rajendra Prasad Gold Medal for Scholastic Performance
at IIM–Ahmedabad was given on Friday (March 25, 2011) to Jaideep Shankar Jagannathan.
To recognize the excellence of the first President of the Indian Republic, and a favourite students to all his teachers, Kamdhenu Foundation has instituted a Gold Medal at Indian Institute of Management- Ahmadabad (IMA).
The Medal is given to the student, who scores the highest CGPA in the PGDM programme which has been rated 8th best management programme in the world. This year the student received the Medal from the award-winning film director Prakash Jha, who himself stands for deep excellence inhis field. It was the deep affection and respect of Prakash Jha for Babuji Dr. Rajendra Prasad that brought him to the event, inspite of his pressing schedule. Like the first President, Prakash Jha, too comes from Bihar.This year the Medal went to Jaideep Shankar Jagannathan.
