AIEEE aspirants from Bihar rendered homeless in Delhi

Patna,(BiharTimes): Candidates of Bihar have badly been hit by the leak of papers of the All India Engineering Entrance Examination on Sunday.
A large number of them got their centres in the National Capital Region. First they faced the harassment while travelling following the derailment of Sangam Express on April 27 evening between Allahabad and Kanpur. This led to inordinate delay in reaching Delhi on subsequent days. Many trains from Bihar reached Delhi 15-16 hours late on following days.

And when they reached the centres on Sunday morning they found that their examination has either been rescheduled or postponed by three hours because of the leak.
As a large number of students from Bihar wanted to return to their respective home-towns and villages the same evening many of them could not catch the train from Delhi because the examination was delayed by three hours. These examinees were in hurry to return because they had to leave for Bangalore to appear in the engineering examination of COMED-K to be held next week. Most of the students wanted to be back in Bihar by Monday only to proceed for Karnataka by Tuesday or Wednesday.

What is more: many schools in Delhi could not take the AIEEE test on May 1 because of the confusion and Armed Forces Medical College examination in the afternoon in the same centre. These schools announced that they would be taking the AIEEE test on May 8. In such case candidates aspiring to appear in engineering competition in Karnataka would be the losers.

With thousands of students from Bihar left high and dry in Delhi––many of them spent their nights on platform or some other places––there is no succour for them from any quarter.
