15-year boy missing from Patna for last 60 hours

Patna,(BiharTimes): Though 60 hours have passed since the disappearance of 15-year old, Rohit Kumar, from Patna no trace has so far been made by the police.


He left his Magistrate Colony house at around 8:00 on Sunday morning to attend classes in a coaching institute in Boring Canal Road not to return by afternoon. The coaching starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 1:30 PM and the institute confirms his presence. But when he did not return to home the parents got panicky and started searching him. They latter reported the matter to the S K Puri Police Station.
Rohit, who appeared in the Class-X examination from the DAV Khagaul, was last seen on his red-coloured Scooty with another person near Sheikhpura. The Scooty was found by the family members near a Government High School in Sheikhpura while they were searching for him.
Rohit, son of Public Works Department, engineer, Sanjay Kumar and Anita Singh, had no complaint nor was he a poor student.
His parents tried to contact him over his mobile after 3:00 PM on Sunday but it has been switched off. They have not yet received any ransom call.
City Superintendent of Police arrived at Rohit’s house on Tuesday evening to make further inquiry about the case.
According to some eyewitness he was last seen on Scooty with an elderly man on the back. Who was this man could not be known.
