New Industrial Incentive (Promotion) Policy will lure investors; Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Friday that the New Industrial Incentive (Promotion) Policy (NIIP, 2011), would help in inviting private investment in the state.

Holding a highlevel review meeting as a prelude to the preparation of the NIIP in Patna on Friday he said that there was sufficient scope for the establishment of industrial units in the state. He directed the officials concerned to maintain complete transparency while preparing the NIIP.


Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi and industries minister Renu Kumari were also present on the occasion.

Chief Secretary Anup Mukherjee, development commissioner K C Saha, agriculture production commissioner Ashok Kumar Sinha, principal secretary, home and registration departments, Amir Subhani, IT secretary Arun Kumar Singh, industries department principal secretary C K Mishra and BSEB chairman PK Rai, were present in the meeting.
