Patna,(BiharTimes): Want to know at least one reason for the deplorable condition of the Patna Municipal Coporation.
If the Mayor of Patna, Afzal Imam, is to be believed the Patna Municipal Corporation has not received the matching grant from the state government for the last three years. Besides, Patna Electric Supply Undertaking (PESU) is yet to pay its due to the Corporation. |
Talking to a regional channel, Mahua News, he claimed that while all the field workers and lower grade employees start working right from the morning, as early as six or seven, it is the senior officials who do not pay heed and are irresponsible.
Though there is general complaint of waterlogging and accumulation of garbage he said that the pre-monsoon work on clearing of drains have started and hoped that the situation would be better this year
