One killed in post-panchayat poll violence in Bihar

Patna,(BiharTimes): Post-panchayat poll is taking bloody turn in Bihar with reports of large scale clashes and attack on police party coming from Darbhanga and Siwan districts.
In Darbhanga’s Kusheshwarsthan block one person lost his life and several others sustained injuries when police opened fire to disperse a mob which went berserk after the announcement of the election result on Sunday.



According to sources the trouble started when one of the candidates, who lost the election for the post of mukhiya insisted for re-counting. After the re-counting he was declared victorious by 27 votes. This infuriated the supporters of the candidate, who won in the first counting. They started attacking the police party and SAP personnel.
However, another report said that the final result was declared after the counting took place for four times.
